Each September, since 2006, the CGSociety exhibits at the ADAPT MONTREAL conference in Canada. To form part of its marketing cachet, full page advertisments are created to appear in the show guide booklet and highlight various happenings in the CG community.

Ballistic Media (the parent company of Ballistic Publishing and CGSociety) is a small startup company which continues to grow rapidly. To solidify its corporate identity, a style guide and stationary was commissioned.

The main goals were to refine the branding, and produce guidelines, to ensure its longevity and strength regardless of whether it was to be used in or outside of the office.

This multi disciplined proposal for SBS Television Australia focussed upon the DVD release of acclaimed British writer Alain de Botton's 'Happiness' television series.

Comprising DVD cover slicks, print media advertising and 3 x 30 second television commercials the project called for a holistic solution to tie all aspects of the product's branding together seamlessly and effectively.

The brief for this project outlined the need for a succinct but engaging document to extoll the features and benefits of purchasing advertising on Ballistic Media's suite of websites.

Special consideration had to be given to the fact that the document needed to work successfully both online and in physical print.

The use of clear graphical elements to partner 'bite-sized' sections of text allows the most important information to be digested easily by the reader.

A full overhaul of the established company brand was requested by the client for this project. This included expanding on the stationary and marketing materials that were previously used by the company to include a 'takeaway menu' pricelist, appointment cards, gift vouchers and 'Lavish Money'
